Job Summary

A company is looking for a Group Insurance Sr. Disability Claims Examiner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide concierge-level customer service and manage an assigned block of disability claims
  • Engage with Expert Resources to enhance the claim journey and address behavioral health and vocational needs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the claimant experience
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Long-Term Disability (LTD) experience is required
  • Experience with Short-Term Disability (STD) claims and Life Waiver of Premium is preferred
  • Ability to interact confidently with attorneys and medical professionals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations related to disability claims
