Job Summary
A company is looking for a Group Insurance Sr. Disability Claims Examiner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide concierge-level customer service and manage an assigned block of disability claims
- Engage with Expert Resources to enhance the claim journey and address behavioral health and vocational needs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the claimant experience
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Long-Term Disability (LTD) experience is required
- Experience with Short-Term Disability (STD) claims and Life Waiver of Premium is preferred
- Ability to interact confidently with attorneys and medical professionals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Advanced math skills for financial calculations related to disability claims
