Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Disability Claims Examiner (LTD) to manage Long-Term Disability claims and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned block of 95 to 100 Long-Term Disability claims while ensuring excellent customer service
- Review medical records, perform financial calculations, and apply contract provisions to make accurate claim decisions
- Document claim determinations and communicate decisions effectively to customers
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Long Term Disability Claim Management
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to navigate complex claim scenarios
- Strong technical knowledge in contract interpretation and administration
- Demonstrated analytical and math skills
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency with PC-based programs such as Excel and Word
