Senior Distributed Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Distributed Systems Engineer will design, prototype, maintain, and evolve real-time telemetry systems while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products based on extensive data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, construct, and maintain real-time telemetry and telemetry processing platforms
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders throughout the company to execute a smooth process from idea to product
• Maintain security best practices for all development projects and ensure high-quality code through peer reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing software for Linux or similar systems
• 5+ years of experience in software development and system design in a team environment
• Working familiarity with modern CI/CD systems and cloud deployment practices
• Expert-level proficiency in systems and application code in C, Rust, or Go
• Familiarity with various systems design approaches and programming paradigms
