Senior DNS Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior DNS Engineer II to manage and improve DNS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operational maintenance and updates on DNS servers and services
• Assist in improving tools and processes for managing global DNS infrastructure
• Monitor DNS systems for performance issues and participate in incident response

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DNS administration or a related operational role
• Familiarity with Linux, git, command line, and DNS server operation
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including UDP, TCP/IP, and NAT
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and overlap with Eastern US time zone for onboarding
