Senior Documentation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the documentation systems, the full-time Senior Documentation Engineer will manage documentation pipelines, AI-augmented workflows, and ensure the quality and accessibility of documentation for a scientific data platform in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain documentation systems, including CI/CD publishing pipelines and automated quality checks
• Build AI-augmented documentation workflows to enhance drafting, summarization, and content structuring for AI consumption
• Generate reference documentation from source specifications and oversee the release-notes and customer communications for platform updates

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in documentation tooling or developer documentation for B2B products
• Proficiency in scripting or web stacks (e.g., Python, TypeScript, JavaScript) and familiarity with docs-as-code practices
• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented workflows and integrating LLM APIs
• Ability to read and document codebases and APIs accurately
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
