Senior Domain Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

Engaging directly with senior stakeholders, the full-time remote Senior Domain Engineering Specialist will provide advanced product expertise and domain depth to support customer success and drive complex solution designs across the Veeam Data Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical overlay to Customer Success Engineers and Specialists, offering specialized expertise when needed
• Lead solution design reviews and customer readiness assessments while monitoring risk and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with Sales teams to shape technical strategies and narratives for security, cloud, and AI expansion

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in advanced technical or architecture roles (e.g., Security Engineer, Cloud Solution Architect)
• Strong expertise in at least one product area (VDC or VDP) or domain area (Security, Cloud, AI)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, cloud/platform certifications); VMCE preferred or willingness to complete post-hire
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior technical and executive stakeholders on risk and strategic roadmaps
