Senior Domain Operations Lead

Job Summary

As a critical member of the Domains product team, the full-time Senior Registrar Operations Lead will ensure operational excellence by managing complex domain-related customer issues, collaborating across departments, and driving compliance and security initiatives, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity at the NYC headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation owner for complex domain-related customer issues, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with Customer Support, Security, and Engineering
• Serve as the internal expert on UDRP cases and compliance matters, partnering with Legal and external registries to manage disputes
• Streamline registrar operational workflows and oversee key operational workstreams, identifying gaps and driving automation improvements

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the domain industry, registrar operations, or compliance-focused roles
• Deep expertise in domain lifecycle management across gTLDs and ccTLDs, including registry interactions
• Strong working knowledge of ICANN policies, UDRP processes, and domain abuse management
• Hands-on experience with EPP, REST APIs, DNS, and registry platforms
• Proven ability to manage complex operational workflows and collaborate with Engineering to reduce manual operations
