Senior Drainage Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical infrastructure projects across the nation, the full-time remote Senior Drainage Engineer will perform drainage and stormwater design, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on high-impact transportation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare hydraulic and hydrologic calculations for stormwater systems and develop related design plans and specifications
• Lead design efforts and coordinate with various engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive project designs
• Implement quality assurance practices and interface with clients to address design issues and support business development activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Certification and ability to obtain a PE license
• Experience in stormwater quantity and quality design for transportation projects
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and/or Civil 3D
• Demonstrated experience leading drainage design efforts and working on alternative project delivery methods
