Senior E-CAD Specialist

Job Summary

To support the design and development of ruggedized electronic equipment, the contract Senior Advanced E-CAD Specialist will create and maintain printed wiring board designs, manage complex PCB layouts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Create, modify, verify, and release printed wiring board designs and circuit card assembly documentation
• Convert legacy schematic and layout information into native design files using Cadence Capture CIS and Allegro
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and component engineering teams to deliver production-ready hardware

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in E-CAD systems with a bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a master's degree
• 5+ years of experience using Cadence Capture CIS and Allegro or equivalent PCB design tools
• 3+ years of experience converting schematics and PCB layouts into native E-CAD files
• 3+ years of experience designing PCB stack-ups and high-speed layouts
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
