Senior E-Commerce Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior E-Commerce Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a client's Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce ecosystem in a fully remote, full-time position, focusing on integrating commerce platforms, order management systems, and payment solutions while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of e-commerce ecosystems across B2C and B2B platforms
• Design and implement core integrations for order lifecycle management and optimize systems for performance and security
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps while partnering with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT experience, focusing on e-commerce implementations
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale, high-transaction systems in global environments
• Strong expertise in commerce platforms, order management systems, and payment gateways
• Solid understanding of web architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-language commerce environments
