Senior ECAD Layout Specialist

Job Summary

To support national defense initiatives, the contract Senior ECAD Layout Specialist will design, develop, and manage CAD software solutions while collaborating with teams on high-stakes projects in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and document printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various applications, including digital signal processing and high-frequency radio frequency designs
• Generate multi-layer PCB layouts, ensuring adherence to design and fabrication standards
• Collaborate with integrated product teams and troubleshoot design data and configuration issues with external vendors

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
• Experience with Xpedition VX2.13 or higher and multi-layer PCB designs up to 28 layers
• Knowledge of DDR4, DDR5, and high-speed signal constraints management
• Experience in MIL/Space Product Design for High Reliability
