Senior Ecommerce Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Ecommerce Director to lead and own the ecommerce segment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the internal CEO of the ecommerce vertical, driving growth, adoption, and customer outcomes
• Oversee ecommerce sales cycles and lead customer expansion initiatives while managing segment-level marketing campaigns
• Develop strategic direction for ecommerce and translate operator experience into actionable product requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of hands-on ecommerce industry experience, preferably on the operator side
• Deep familiarity with the ecommerce technology landscape, including storefronts, ERPs, and analytics tools
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Fluency with business metrics and KPIs relevant to ecommerce operations
• Demonstrated experience presenting to executive audiences and an existing industry reputation in ecommerce
