Senior eCommerce Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance digital commerce capabilities, the full-time remote Senior eCommerce Engineer will develop and maintain eCommerce solutions, lead technical projects, and provide mentorship to junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead hands-on development of custom solutions and microservices, focusing on full stack development for Kibo Commerce and related platforms
- Design and maintain robust APIs to integrate the commerce platform with third-party systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure adherence to best practices through code reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in API design and implementation
- Hands-on experience with composable commerce platforms, specifically Kibo
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
