Senior EDI Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely for a 10-month duration, the Senior EDI Developer will lead the technical execution of integration and API projects, perform solution-level analysis and design, and ensure code quality while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, design, and build EDI integrations while participating in testing and defect resolution
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the development team, troubleshooting complex defects and maintaining delivery momentum
• Translate solution designs into working implementations and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 or above
• Proficiency in DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, APIs, and various communication protocols
• Extensive experience in map development for multiple file formats including X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON
• Strong understanding of core architectural concepts for EDI implementations, including security fundamentals and scalability
• Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams
