Senior EDI Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely for a 10-month contract, the Senior EDI Developer will perform technical analysis, design, and build EDI integrations while leading the execution of integration and API projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform solution-level technical analysis and actively participate in testing and defect resolution
• Lead day-to-day technical execution of integration and API projects, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the development team, troubleshooting complex defects and mentoring junior team members

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 or above
• Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and supporting EDI integrations with various file formats including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2
• Experience with DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, and APIs
• Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams
