Senior EDI Developer

Job Summary

To support ongoing EDI integration projects, the remote Senior EDI Developer will design, develop, and implement EDI solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator while leading technical execution and collaborating with cross-functional teams on a 10-month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement EDI integration solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards
• Lead technical execution of EDI integration and API development projects, including troubleshooting and defect resolution
• Mentor junior developers and support implementation planning and deployment coordination

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (Version 5.2.6 or higher)
• Extensive experience developing EDI maps for ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat Files, and JSON
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN
• Experience with DB2, SQL, XML, XSLT, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of EDI architecture, including encryption, security, and high availability
