Senior EDI Developer
Job Summary
To support integration and API projects, the remote Senior EDI Developer will perform technical analysis, design, and build EDI integrations while providing leadership and mentoring to junior team members over a 10-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of integration and API projects, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Translate solution designs into working implementations and actively participate in testing and defect resolution
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for the development team, troubleshooting complex defects and maintaining delivery momentum
Required qualifications
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 or above
- Strong background in business process development and EDI integration
- Proficiency in various file formats including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, and JSON
- Experience with communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts for EDI implementations, including security, authentication, and scalability
