Senior EDI Specialist

Job Summary

As the subject matter expert in healthcare interoperability, the full-time Senior EDI Specialist will lead complex implementation projects, collaborate with clients and vendors, and provide technical guidance to enhance electronic ordering and resulting workflows in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead multiple high-priority, complex projects through all phases of implementation while ensuring adherence to corporate timelines and service level expectations
• Collaborate with sales, laboratory operations, and clients to ensure successful project execution and maintain strong customer satisfaction
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for healthcare EDI transactions, HL7 messaging, and EMR integrations, troubleshooting complex integration issues as needed

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• 5 or more years of experience in healthcare EDI, interoperability, or related technical environments
• 1 or more years of experience working with EMR vendors and laboratory information systems during implementation projects
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and EDI transactions
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines
