Senior EDI Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Test Engineer, Sr to join a program focused on IT operations and software development support services for federal clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review comprehensive test plans, execute test plan activities, and create test cases based on functional requirements
• Coordinate and perform functional, integration, and regression testing while overseeing the defect management process
• Actively engage in scrum ceremonies and serve as a liaison between business, design, development, and testing teams for EDI-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT industry
• Advanced expertise in testing EDI transactions and knowledge of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 and FHIR
• Strong knowledge of EDI layouts, including loops, segments, and data elements
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an additional 8 years of work experience (total of 13 years experience)
