Senior EDI Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal program, the full-time Senior EDI Test Engineer will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, coordinate functional and regression testing, and oversee defect management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and review comprehensive test plans, create test cases, and execute testing activities based on functional requirements
- Coordinate and perform functional, integration, and regression testing while managing defects and reporting progress to the scrum team
- Serve as a liaison between business, design, development, and testing teams to clarify EDI-related questions and support User Acceptance Testing
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT industry
- Advanced expertise in testing EDI transactions, including 837 (I/P/D), 835, and others
- Proficient in healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 and FHIR
- Strong knowledge of EDI layouts and familiarity with EDI, X12/EDIFACT, and HIPAA requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 13 years of relevant work experience
