Senior Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Editor with publication decisions and editorial strategy development
• Organize peer review processes and ensure timely production of journal issues
• Develop relationships with medical research communities and represent the journal at conferences

Required Qualifications

• An MD or PhD (Clinical Research) with postdoctoral experience, or a postgraduate degree with substantial editorial experience
• Thorough knowledge of biological and medical sciences relevant to Southeast Asia
• Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, including medical professionals and media
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet press deadlines
• Proficiency with IT systems, including MS Office
