Job Summary

A company is looking for an East Coast Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an editor and content driver for the top-performing daily newsletter
• Write an anchor column providing deep analysis or editorial voice at least twice a month
• Edit approximately 10 stories a week across two East Coast-based reporters

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of journalism experience, with 2 years in a management or assigning editor role
• Strong working knowledge of commercial real estate (CRE) and related sectors
• Proven experience writing or editing under tight deadlines in a newsletter or daily news environment
• Background or training in data journalism strongly preferred
• Ability to find surprising insights in overlooked sources and explain them clearly to a business audience
