Job Summary

Senior Editor, an experienced professional responsible for directing editorial coverage, assigning stories, and managing a team of reporters and editors in a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct editorial coverage by assigning stories and approving pitches from reporters and editors
• Work closely with the editorial team to mine stories and craft a daily newsletter
• React quickly to the fast-paced digital landscape and ensure smooth editorial operations

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in news, TV, or digital media
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a newsroom setting
• Experience with content management systems and digital newsletters
• Strong interest in sports, pop culture, news, and politics
• Proven organizational ability and flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and nights
