Senior Editor, Consent Forms

Job Summary

Supporting the IRB Services department, the full-time Senior Editor, Consent Forms will conduct pre-reviews and edits of informed consent forms for regulatory compliance while mentoring new editors and collaborating with stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-reviews and edits of consent forms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational procedures
• Collaborate with team members and Board members to incorporate necessary edits into consent forms
• Mentor new team members and maintain knowledge of regulations related to human subjects research

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical/medical writing and/or editing, along with a Bachelor's degree
• Experience writing and/or editing consent forms or related research documents
• Proficiency in Word processing and editing software, including use of Tracked Changes
• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and remote communication tools
• Completion of standard Human Subjects Research Training, such as CITI
