Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Editor for their Culture and Features team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape the company's culture coverage by assigning and editing news, explainers, and feature stories on various cultural topics
• Lead the service journalism vertical, providing actionable advice on mental and physical health, relationships and community, and work and money
• Manage and edit a team of staff reporters, as well as collaborate with other writers, editors, podcast producers, and video producers on editorial projects

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing a team of reporters
• Demonstrated experience assigning and editing culture news, features, and service journalism
• Strong story judgment and editing skills
• Knowledge and curiosity about culture, with the ability to uncover key insights and find unique angles for stories
• A diverse network of reporters and experts to draw upon
