Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Editor, Economics, the successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts and multimedia professionals to develop and oversee research and insights projects, ensuring the intellectual rigor and credibility of published content while adapting to various storytelling formats.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders and thought leaders to strategize and execute research and insights projects on prioritized topics
• Ensure the accuracy and clarity of published insights by applying journalistic scrutiny and editing for factual correctness and style
• Guide and coach authors on effective storytelling and adherence to editorial best practices throughout the content development process

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in writing, editing, and copyediting content, preferably in business journalism
• Bachelor's degree in English, literature, journalism, communications, or a related field
• Deep familiarity with editing economics and finance articles and research reports
• Exceptional editing skills with mastery of US English grammar and Associated Press style
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, content management systems, and collaboration tools
