Senior Education Policy Specialist
Job Summary
Collaborating with state education agencies and districts, the full-time Senior Education Policy Specialist will support the implementation of EVAAS solutions, provide thought leadership on educational policy, and serve as a subject matter expert while working remotely or onsite in Cary, North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of EVAAS solutions by anticipating client perspectives and contributing to strategic discussions
- Represent SAS EVAAS in meetings and conferences, providing expertise on educational policy and data analytics
- Analyze outcomes-based data and assist in the development of new analytics and reporting solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred in public policy, education, statistics, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in education, government, or analytics
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders in state education agencies or related organizations
- Proven experience in leadership roles within education-focused environments
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
