Senior Elastic Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Managed Security Services team, the full-time Senior Elastic Engineer will implement, optimize, and maintain Elastic Stack environments remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Elastic Stack environments, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash
• Build and optimize ingestion pipelines, index strategies, and automation workflows
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and lead design reviews for Elastic best practices

Required Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Fleet)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Solid understanding of observability, logging, and distributed systems
• Experience designing and deploying production-scale Elastic environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux/Unix systems
