Senior Elastic Observability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Elastic Observability Engineer will manage alert response, triage, and maintenance of monitoring systems while supporting observability-driven development within the Cloud Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to alerts and user-reported incidents, diagnosing and resolving issues related to Elasticsearch clusters and pipelines
• Perform routine operations including service restarts, ingestion validation, and configuration updates while ensuring system health
• Create and maintain Kibana dashboards for operational visibility and support data quality through validation and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
• 5+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, or IT operations
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with the Elastic Stack, including Elasticsearch and Kibana
