Senior Electrical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for Senior and Lead Electrical Designers to join their Power Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects and teams in delivering electrical designs and 3D models for power generation projects
• Generate electrical layouts and drawings, including raceway, lighting, and power plans from 3D models
• Coordinate with project teams and mentor junior staff while managing project schedules, budgets, and scopes

Required Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of experience in electrical component and systems design, preferably in power or heavy industry
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, preferably using SmartPlant3D or similar tools
• Experience in generating electrical designs including layouts, P&IDs, and performing relevant calculations
• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and lead team meetings
• Capacity to work independently with limited direction and mentor junior designers
