Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Electrical Engineer will develop new electrical designs for standard and custom transformers up to 1600 KVA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production orders are accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Design Dry-Type Transformers and Reactors for low and high power applications
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales to meet customer requirements
• Develop electrical designs aimed at cost reduction and compliance with specifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Extensive experience in designing Power Distribution Unit (PDU) transformers for data center applications
• Familiarity with Transformer Design software such as OPS, Ansoft, or equivalents
• Knowledge of UL/CSA and NEMA transformer standards preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
