Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and produce standard and custom transformers, the remote Senior Electrical Engineer will design new electrical systems to reduce costs and meet customer specifications while collaborating with various departments to ensure timely production.

Key responsibilities

• Design Dry-Type Transformers and Reactors for low and high power applications
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure accurate and timely production orders
• Develop new electrical designs to meet customer requirements and reduce costs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience or equivalent engineering experience
• Extensive experience in designing Power Distribution Unit (PDU) transformers for data center applications
• Proficiency in Transformer Design software such as OPS, Ansoft, or equivalents
• Knowledge of UL/CSA and NEMA transformer standards preferred
• Ability to read and create detailed technical wiring diagrams, schematics, and bill of materials
