Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer to support utility-scale battery energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and review advanced electrical studies such as arc flash analysis and reactive power studies
• Lead the design and engineering of key components for utility-scale energy storage systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and integrate system-level solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (master's preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in Solar PV or Energy Storage engineering and/or construction
• Proficiency in ETAP, PSCAD, and PSS/E software tools
• Expertise in power electronics, BESS design, substation design, and generation tie-line design
• Strong understanding of energy storage technologies and relevant safety and design standards
