Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior BESS Electrical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems, ensuring compliance with contract and utility requirements
• Review feasibility studies and technical specifications to evaluate project viability and recommend optimal BESS configurations
• Provide technical oversight during procurement processes and support system testing, validation, and commissioning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering focused on battery energy storage systems or renewable energy
• Expertise in design and optimization of battery energy storage systems and grid interconnection equipment
• Proficiency in power system analysis software and energy storage simulation tools
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
