Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for utility-scale solar and energy storage design and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend equipment and design specifications for projects
• Lead development of production estimates and in-house modeling best practices
• Provide technical review and risk assessment for key contracts and agreements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in photovoltaic and/or energy storage engineering
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific software
• Expertise in advanced energy modeling methodologies
• Ability to lead engineering due diligence and manage complex interpersonal relationships
