Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Leading detailed system studies for large-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Electrical Engineer in Power System Studies will perform analyses, design collection systems, and produce client-ready reports, all while working remotely and managing multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and lead complex system studies, including short-circuit and load-flow analyses
• Design collection systems and create equipment specifications for renewable energy systems
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers while coordinating client interactions across projects

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or Bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant experience
• EIT Certificate
• Advanced knowledge of Python, ETAP, CDEGS, CYMCAP, PSS/E, and PSLF
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with solar PV or energy storage systems
• Experience applying Python for process automation
