Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Life Sciences and Laboratory Facilities, this full-time remote position will manage the design of electrical building services, including power distribution and specialist systems, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical building services for various facilities, including laboratories and life sciences environments
• Prepare engineering documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and specifications
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while ensuring project milestones are met effectively

Required qualifications

• Minimum of twelve years' experience in electrical building services design for commercial or institutional facilities
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or close to achieving it through a recognized institution
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical engineering analysis software
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK legislation and relevant engineering standards for electrical services
• Ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with British citizenship or eligible immigration status
