Senior Electrical Engineer PE

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical system design and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for commercial facilities, including power distribution and low-voltage controls
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, and arc-flash analysis to enhance system performance
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver coordinated construction documents and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program (master's preferred)
• 8+ years of building electrical design experience; PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred
• Proficiency with Revit, SKM or ETAP, and lighting calculation software
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and energy codes
• Experience in coordinating remote project teams and strong client-facing skills
