Senior Electrical Estimator

Job Summary

Supporting the delivery of a major semiconductor manufacturing facility, the full-time Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing and presenting electrical cost estimates, managing vendor prequalifications, and evaluating contractor tenders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategies, manage vendor prequalification, and assess proposals and bids
• Independently evaluate contractor tenders and prepare commercial recommendations
• Review and negotiate change orders and compensation events, ensuring alignment with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or estimating within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management for medium to large projects
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is valuable
• Experience in construction consultancy is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with technical matters in the construction industry, such as procurement routes and value engineering
