Senior Electrical Estimator
Job Summary
To support a growing electrical construction organization, the remote Senior Electrical Estimator will develop accurate estimates for complex projects exceeding $40M, collaborating closely with leadership and project management while working East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for projects ranging from small installations to large-scale opportunities
- Analyze drawings and specifications to determine costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Evaluate value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-saving solutions throughout the bidding process
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of electrical estimating experience on projects exceeding $10M
- Strong experience estimating industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and healthcare construction projects
- Extensive experience with Accubid estimating software
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and materials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
