Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting preconstruction coordination activities for electrical system design and procurement on utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Electrical Project Engineer will focus on electrical material procurement coordination and the development of actionable Bills of Material in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical system constructability and procurement activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets
• Develop and support execution of detailed electrical Bills of Material through material take-offs and design reviews
• Analyze design constraints and project schedules to ensure timely procurement of long-lead and critical path materials

Required qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in electrical construction, procurement, estimating, or materials management, preferably in utility-scale solar projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
• Demonstrated experience with electrical material scopes and BOM development
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Smartsheet preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and procurement workflows
