Job Summary

Overseeing the eligibility verification process in revenue cycle management, the full-time Senior Eligibility Specialist will manage complex cases, collaborate with payers, and mentor junior team members while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the verification of patient eligibility and benefits for all insurance payers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Handle complex or escalated eligibility issues, collaborating with payers and other departments to ensure timely solutions
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior eligibility specialists, helping to resolve challenging cases and ensuring best practices are followed

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in eligibility verification within revenue cycle management
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and payer relations
• Ability to analyze and interpret eligibility verification reports
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members
• Familiarity with billing and coding processes related to eligibility verification
