Senior Elixir Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Elixir Engineer (Contract) to support existing systems and develop backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in Elixir/Phoenix, focusing on API design and data modeling
• Develop and extend a Phoenix LiveView admin portal for non-technical teams to manage content and workflows
• Collaborate with the mobile team to design and ship reliable JSON-based APIs for mobile use

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping Elixir/Phoenix applications to production with ownership of backend features
• Strong experience with Phoenix LiveView and building server-rendered interactive UIs
• Solid API design fundamentals for mobile clients, including authentication and error handling
• Experience with relational data modeling and operationally safe migrations
• Practical experience with observability tooling such as Telemetry and structured logging
