Senior Elixir Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Senior Elixir Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for writing high-quality code, building scalable systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance Stord's Order Management System and other critical platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Write maintainable Elixir/Phoenix code and build fault-tolerant systems
• Collaborate on architectural decisions and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, reliable system components

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in Elixir
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Strong proficiency in Elixir/Phoenix and familiarity with the OTP ecosystem
• Understanding of data engineering principles and microservices architecture
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams
