Senior ELK Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a skilled team of engineers, the full-time Senior ELK Stack Engineer will focus on maintaining the reliability and scalability of the enterprise Elastic Stack solution, utilizing automation tools while working remotely on a long-term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deploy monitoring and alerting systems within the Dynatrace or ELK Stack
• Design, configure, and maintain a large-scale log aggregation solution using Elasticsearch and Logstash
• Set up and manage data ingestion pipelines and transformations using tools like Filebeat and Logstash

Required qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/Engineering or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience with Dynatrace or ELK Stack as an Admin, SME, or Architect
• Hands-on experience designing data pipelines using Logstash and/or Fluentd/Fluentbit
• Expert-level knowledge of the ELK Stack, including best practices for performance and security
• Fluent in scripting languages such as Python and Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks
