Senior Embedded Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the developer experience on the Hubble network, the full-time Senior Embedded Engineer will focus on streamlining the onboarding process for developers and ensuring robust device management and fleet health monitoring across various supported silicon platforms in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the developer bring-up path, including reference applications, board support, and quickstarts across supported SoC portfolios
• Design and implement device-side firmware updates and diagnostics for effective operation over satellite links
• Extend hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure to automate testing and ensure reliability of SDK changes on real silicon

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on firmware experience in C with a proven track record in production embedded systems on BLE-capable silicon
• Substantial experience with Zephyr RTOS and familiarity with nRF Connect SDK, ESP-IDF, or TI SimpleLink
• Demonstrated experience in building automated test infrastructure for embedded targets
• Solid understanding of OTA update mechanisms and power optimization in memory-constrained environments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex embedded problems to diverse audiences
