Senior Embedded Graphics Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development and modernization of advanced avionics display systems, the remote Senior Embedded Graphics Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain graphics drivers and middleware, focusing on performance optimization in safety-critical embedded environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain graphics drivers and embedded graphics software for avionics display systems
• Support the modernization of legacy graphics software and enhance display technologies for aerospace applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize graphics performance across multi-core processor architectures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience developing software for embedded and/or real-time systems
• Strong experience in developing embedded graphics software using OpenGL or similar graphics APIs
• Experience with DO-178B and/or DO-178C software development environments for safety-critical aerospace systems
• Strong programming experience in C/C++ within embedded and real-time operating system environments
