Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced maritime intelligence systems, the full-time Senior Embedded Linux Engineer will build and maintain the embedded Linux platform for the SmartMast system, integrating various sensors and ensuring reliable data connectivity in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the embedded Linux software stack on Jetson Orin NX and AAEON hardware
• Build and integrate ROS2 nodes for multi-sensor orchestration, including cameras, radar, and GPS
• Design and maintain OTA software and firmware update pipelines for a globally distributed fleet

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded Linux or platform software engineering experience on production systems
• Strong command of C++ and Python, with deep familiarity with Linux internals
• Hands-on experience with the Yocto Project for creating custom embedded Linux distributions
• Experience with ROS or ROS2 for sensor integration in robotic systems
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and experience with AI inference optimization using TensorRT and CUDA
