Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contractual basis, the Senior Embedded Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain embedded software for the IntelliSep software platform, focusing on Linux-based systems and supporting modernization efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain embedded software in modern C++ across various instrument platforms
• Support platform modernization through OS upgrades and software infrastructure improvements
• Develop Python-based tools and CI/CD pipelines for verification and validation processes

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development for complex electromechanical systems
• Expert-level C++ programming skills on Linux-based systems with multi-threading experience
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience integrating and debugging complex instrumentation using tools like oscilloscopes
