Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and refactor real-time software architectures while serving as an embedded Linux expert to support customer engineering teams in embedded software development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to enhance project experiences and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Reproduce, isolate, and debug complex low-level problems spanning hardware and software interfaces
• Develop technical proposals and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and proactively identifying risks

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in building and shipping embedded systems using Linux
• Proficiency in Linux kernel customization and device driver design, with experience in build environments like Yocto or Buildroot
• Experience with performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting at the kernel level
• Proficiency in the C programming language and Git at the command line level
• Must be a US citizen or US person
